Spanish Language Resource Hub for COVID-19

We are excited to announce that our volunteer network translated over 30 articles about COVID19 from English into Spanish in collaboration with the project COVID-19 en español.

COVID-19 en español is a website (and twitter account!) started in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, with the urgent goal of making reliable and accurate COVID-19 information accessible to Spanish speakers.

Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world (just behind Mandarin), with nearly half a billion speakers worldwide. In just the United States, over 41 million people speak Spanish at home - 13.5% of the population - but despite this, the vast majority of information published about COVID-19 is in English.

With the help of our wonderful volunteer translators, COVID-19 en español was able to publish a huge amount of information in Spanish within the first weeks of the pandemic.

Check out the result of all of this hard work at covid19espanol.com!
