Translating Resources to Combat Anti-Asian Hate

2021-0513_SAALT.png

Respond partnered with South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT) to make Anti-Asian Hate Resources accessible in Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Khmer, Gujarati, Nepali, Tamil, Telegu, Urdu.

Anti-Asian hate crimes numbered a staggering 3,800 in the last year, with the majority of these hate crimes perpetrated against Asian women -- one more insidious result of the racist, sexist, anti-immigrant rhetoric and policy that permeates American history.

In this climate, SAALT’s work mobilizing for racial justice through structural change is more urgent than ever, and we are honored to support their work with translation support!

Thank you to the many translators and project managers who put their time and energy into getting these resources translated!
